MOTUL Asia Pacific, a long-time partner of the simracing and lifestyle brand Legion of Racers (LOR), will be partnering the LOR esports team at the upcoming Intercontinental GT Challenge Esports Championship 2022.

The regional series for Europe, America and Asia have now been merged to create a global endurance series, which is a 5-round championship in which simracers will be racing between an 8-hour to a 24-hour race.

Team LOR will be entered in two Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo in the championship which offers a cash pool of 35,000 Euros to be divided between the top 10 teams.

Both cars will compete in the Pro category, where they will come up against stiff competition from teams based out in Europe and in the Americas, and both Team LOR cars will carry the MOTUL logo prominently as part of the partnership.

Team LOR will be represented by the following simracers in cars 888 and 889.

Car 888

- Nigel Chuah (MAL)

- Luis Moreno (PHI)

- Thanathip Thanalapanan (THA)

- Fickry Segeir (IDN)

Car 889

- Andika Rama Maulana (IDN)

- Fadhli Rachmat (IDN)

- Moreno Pratama (IDN)

- Dillan Tan (SGP)

Said Team LOR manager and LOR Co-Founder Melvin Moh, “After coming second in the championship last year, we are definitely hoping to go one better this time around.

“But we are well aware that this won’t be an easy feat given that the continents have been merged into a global series with many strong teams from Europe and the Americas.

“I would also like to thank MOTUL Asia Pacific for coming onboard with us once again to reach the next generation of motorsport audiences and we hope do achieve great results together.”
