Legion of Racers Online League 2020 (hereinafter “the League”) is an online sim racing league organized by Legion of Racers (hereinafter “the Organizer”). The game title used in the League will be Gran Turismo Sport (PS4 Platform) and will commence from June 2020 to September 2020.


The League comprises of 2 categories, Pro and Am and is open to all Drivers from around the world. One title will be awarded to the Pro Category and one title to the Am Category.



1.1 The final text of these Rules & Regulations shall be the English version, which will be used should any dispute arises as to their interpretation.

1.2 The League shall be run in accordance with all Rules & Regulations, Additional Supplementary Regulations of the League, and Supplementary Regulations provided by Sim Racing Association Singapore.

1.3 The Organizer reserves the right to issue additional statements and Additional Supplementary Regulations from time to time. All such statements will be published on the official website of the League, or posted to the Discord Group.

1.4 The Organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel any portion of the League, or make changes to the calendar, which includes tracks and cars.

1.5 The Organizer reserves the right to evict any individual from the League for misbehavior at its discretion. This includes and not limited to any discriminatory or offending actions, words, comments or postings to other competitors or the Organizer.

1.6 It is the Driver’s obligation to ensure that he/she observe all the necessary requirements of the League, the Rules & Regulations and any Additional Supplementary Regulations issued from the Organizer.

1.7 Decisions taken by the Organizer are final and not appealable. This includes incidents or situations that are not be covered by the Rules & Regulations or Supplementary Regulations.

3. Driver Categorization


3.1 Driver will be categorized based on their Driving Rating in Gran Turismo Sport.

Pro Category (Driving Rating: Unrestricted)

Am Category (Driving Rating: D,C,B)

3.2 Any Driver is allowed to join the Pro Category, but he/she is NOT ALLOWED to switch to the Am Category for the entire League.

3.3 The Organizer has the right to promote any Am Driver to the Pro Category if he/she is deemed to be too quick in any 2 races during the season. Decision is not appealable.


4.Entry Fees


4.1 Pro Category

Early Bird – SGD40

Normal Price – SGD 50

4.2 Am Category

Early Bird – SGD 30

Normal Price – SGD 40

4.3 Early bird is for the month of April or first 30 participants (Pro and Am Category combined), whichever comes first.

4.4 Any Driver who is promoted to the Pro Category would need to make the additional SGD10 entry fee.

4.5 No refunds will be made once payment is completed.

6.Event Format


6.1 Each Round will be run over 2 segments that includes Qualifying and Race. The type and group of cars and race duration will be announced closer to the commencement of the League.

6.2 Qualifying

Drivers will be slotted randomly into lobbies regardless of Pro or Am Category where he/she will have 20 minutes to set their fastest lap time. Lap times would then be tabulated after the end of Qualifying where the Top 14th Fastest Lap Time would be slotted into Lobby 1, followed by the 15th – 28th Fastest Lap Time into Lobby 2 and so on.

6.3 Race

Starting position of the Drivers will be determined by Qualifying results.


6.4 Schedule (GMT +8)

21:00 – 21:20: Drivers Briefing

21:20 – 21:30: Lobby Opens

21:30 – 21:50: Qualifying

21:50 – 22:15: Short Break and Tabulation of Qualifying Results

22:15 – 22:20: Announcement of Qualifying Results and Lobbies

22:20 – 22:30: Drivers to enter Lobby

22:30 – 23:00: Race


7. Classification


7.1 The final classification of each Round will be according to the Drivers’ finishing positions in the Race.

7.2 Final points total for the season will be taken from the best 5 out of 6 rounds of the driver's championship points.

7.3 Should there be a scenario where Drivers are tied in points at the end of the Championship, the highest number of wins between the involved Drivers would determine the outcome of the result. Should the Drivers be tied on the number of wins, this will be followed by the number of 2nd place finishes etc.

8.1 The Prizes for the League are as per indicated on the official Prizes postings on the League’s Official Facebook page.

8.2 The Organizer reserves the right to amend the prizes given out at its discretion and without prior notice.



9. Driver Participation


9.1 All Drivers are to use the same PSN ID that they have registered with throughout the League. Any changes to the PSN ID MUST be reported to the Organizer at least 24 hours before the Qualifying session begins.

9.2 Drivers who are deemed “Too Fast” in the Am Category may be promoted to the Pro Category during the League. The Organizer will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to pace, driver inputs, as well as background information such as past Sim Racing events or competitions joined. The Organizer has the right to promote anyone without any public statements issued.


10. Driver’s Consent


10.1 The Drivers agree to allow the Organizer to utilize his/her related personal information such as name, age and PSN ID as well as personal images, videos, in-game footages, livery and content for the purpose of media releases, statements, articles, broadcasting, interviews and social media postings.


11.1 All drivers will be invited to the League's official Discord channel prior to the commencement of the league.

11.2 All drivers, please make sure you have a discord account by 31st May 2020.


11.3 All communication by the Organizer to the Drivers will be done via the League’s Discord Channel before, during and after the races. The link to the Discord Channel will be sent to the Drivers via email. Drivers may contact the Organizer directly via the Discord Channel should they have any enquiries or protests.

11.4 Drivers should inform the Organizer immediately should they encounter any technical issues via the Discord Channel.

11.5 Drivers should use the Discord Channel to communicate to other Drivers or Stewards before, during and after the races and not in the Lobby itself.


12. Driving Options


12.1 Drivers are allowed to use any in-game Driving Aids apart from those restricted by the Online Lobby setting.


13. Cars & Driver Avatar


13.1 Drivers are only allowed to drive the car stated for the specific round in the lobby at all times. Any Driver who is found to use other than the stated car will be immediately disqualified from the round.

13.2 Drivers may use any tire choice that is permitted in the online lobby at any given time.

13.3 Drivers are free to use any liveries during the League. However, liveries containing obscene, vulgar or discriminating messages are prohibited in the League. Drivers found to be using a prohibited livery will be disqualified immediately.

13.4 The Organizer reserves the right to enforce a livery on Drivers during certain rounds due to Sponsor/Partner agreement.

14. Race Start and Restart


14.1 The Race Start will be either a Standing Start with false start check, Standing Start or Rolling Start which will be determined by the Organizer each Round.

14.2 The Organizer reserves the right to delay and/or restart the race should the Organizer and/or Drivers encounter any technical issues.


15. Sporting Conduct


15.1 The Organizer seeks to practice and maintain the highest code of conduct in the League. The Organizer expects that all members of the community – drivers, officials and shoutcasters – will conduct themselves in the same way as a race participant would at an event in the physical world.


15.2 Drivers are advised to respect their rivals on track and avoid any intentional collision with one another.

15.3 Drivers should avoid excessive weaving or blocking at all times during Qualifying and the Race. As a general Rule of Thumb, only one move is allowed by the driver defending his position.

15.4 Drivers should avoid crossing the white line on pit exit to avoid from hitting an oncoming car on the race track.

15.5 Drivers that are lapped or will be lapped should give way to the leaders and should not interfere in any way.

16. Protest


16.1 Drivers are strongly encouraged to report any rivals of misconduct, incidents and any other activity that is unfair. Drivers should provide the following to the Organizer via Discord:

  • Video Evidence

  • Description of the incident as detailed as possible

  • Drivers involved

  • The lap or time when the incident happen




16.2 Drivers are encouraged to save their race replays as evidence. Drivers can do this by setting their PS4 Video Clip recording length to 30 minutes or have an external recording device. Any protest without evidence will not be entertained.


16.3 Drivers can launch a protest by sending a personal message to the Organizer via Discord after the race with the required video evidence and details as highlighted in Point 15.1. Filing for protests closes at 2pm the next day (Saturday 1400HRS GMT+8).


16.4 Protest submitted after the deadline will not be entertained.


16.5 Results of the protests will be made known together with the changes to the final round results.

16.6 The Organizer’s decision is final.

17. Penalties

17.1 In-game penalties within Gran Turismo Sport will be applied except for car collisions to prevent drivers from receiving unnecessary penalties.

17.2 The Organizer will not impose any penalty to the respective driver(s) if the incident is not reported within the protest guidelines mentioned in Point 16.3.

17.3 The Organizer reserves the right to impose additional penalties on top of the in-game penalties within Gran Turismo Sport. These penalties include time penalty, grid penalty, race ban and deduction of Championship Points.


17.4 The below penalties are not exhaustive. The Organizer may impose alternative or additional penalties.
